NS0-185 vs. NS0-165

NS0-185 and NS0-165 cover the same ONTAP platform from different job perspectives. They are complementary exams, not old and new versions of the same test.

Which Exam Should You Take?

Choose NS0-185 if your work begins before the cluster enters production. This includes planning, rack-and-stack activities, cabling, cluster creation, expansion, installation testing, and customer acceptance.

Choose NS0-165 if you are responsible for an operating ONTAP environment, including SVMs, storage efficiency, SAN or NAS access, data protection, security, and performance.
